Why we started

We've sold software into senior care facilities, and we've seen how these buildings actually run. Most of the products in this market were built to be sold to a facility, with very little thought for the residents who have to use them or the staff who keep the place going.

The older systems are expensive, hard to learn and unpleasant to look at. Many of the newer ones were rushed out and fall short on compliance. Smaller facilities often can't afford either. Meanwhile, residents' requests fall through the cracks far more often than anyone outside these homes would believe.

Why it matters to us

The population is getting older. The people moving into these homes over the next decades include our own parents and grandparents, and the homes already struggle to keep up with demand. Unless the people in this industry work on it together, it will get worse.

How we build

Facilities have to run far more efficiently, and that only happens when the system fits the people using it. So we start from what residents already use and are comfortable with, such as a text message, a voice note or a Messenger chat. Every request becomes a clear task for the right team. We keep it simple and priced so that smaller facilities can use it too. See how it works.

What we hope to achieve

We want homes where a resident's request is heard and answered, in their own language, without anyone having to chase it. Staff should spend less time tracking down messages and more time with the people they care for. And we want the tools in senior care to show the same care the people working in it do.
