What is manual relay actually costing you?

Every non-emergency request that travels through a person instead of straight to the right team costs staff time. Enter your bed count below; the rest (requests per resident per day, minutes per request, loaded wage) is pre-filled from published research and editable.

The math

requests per week = beds × requests per resident per day × 7

hours per week = (requests per week × minutes per request) ÷ 60

cost per week = hours per week × loaded hourly wage

Reference figures

A loaded wage of $24.74/hour (nursing staff, US Bureau of Labor Statistics median, loaded for benefits at 26.8%).
